The weather has finally started to warm up here in the UK and after spending a couple of days in London where it always seems to be hotter than on the coast I’m feeling inspired to switch up my wardrobe. I would have killed for a floaty dress or a linen playsuit whilst nearly suffocating on the tube.
So, similarly to any other season, I am loving neutral tones ~ earthy rusts, mixed with creams, all the shades of beige, whites, dusky pinks, mustards and maybe even an olive tone thrown in if I’m feeling daring!
There are loads of trends for the summer months that I’ve been loving such as animal print, utility inspired pieces, tartan/gingham print and the overall 90’s vibes. I’ve been loving wearing oversized blazers with other tailored pieces and knotted headbands and strappy sandals.
I’ve taken some time to peruse the ‘New In’ sections of my favourite high street stores – &OtherStories, ARKET, H&M and Topshop – and have pulled together 20 items I’m lusting after to create a little capsule SS19 edit. I’ve included the item names, prices and direct links below so you can shop the pieces easily. *Click the text on the image for a direct link to shop each piece.
