7 Days to beat the ‘January Blues’

We made it through the first week of the new year; pats on the back for us. But now the novelty of a fresh start has worn of, January can be tough. There’s loads of bugs going around, everyone’s a bit sleepy and delirious and it’s colder than you remembered. With all that said it’s easy to tumble into a pit of January blues, SO to keep myself sane I’ve drawn up a week of daily tasks which I’m going to try and stick to…

– MONDAY –

Focus ; SELF CARE.

Take a bath. Exfoliate. Do a face mask. Do something that makes you feel relaxed.

– TUESDAY –

Focus ; DIGITAL DETOX

Give yourself the night off from any screen time.

– WEDNESDAY –

Focus ; CLEAN

Tackle one junk draw or shelf you know you’ve been putting off.

– THURSDAY –

Focus ; PURGE

Take a few minutes to unsubscribe from those unwanted email newsletters that clutter your mind.

– FRIDAY –

Focus ; DONATE

Give away five things from your wardrobe you don’t need anymore.

– SATURDAY –

Focus ; HEALTH

Have a healthy dinner tonight from scratch.

– SUNDAY – 

Focus ; ENERGISE

Take a 20 minute walk. Get some fresh air and reflect on the positives from your week.
