How I style… Gingham

One of the most popular prints at the moment is gingham/plaid. I’ve seen this print on so many items; trousers, skirts, scarfs, jackets, dresses… pretty much anything.

My favourite piece at the moment is this plaid print skort from Stradivarius. This was a new piece in my autumn wardrobe and I’ve already got so much wear from it.

I FRIGGING LOVE IT. The cut and style fits me perfectly. I find it to be very flattering, the cross over panel with black and gold buttons is my favourite part. I think it elongates my legs and is less harsh than a straight edged skirt. Plus because it’s a skort and not a skirt I don’t have to worry about it riding up or blowing up in the wind. Don’t you just hate those moments where a dress or skirt blows up around your neck and the world around you get a lovely shot of your Bridget Jones undies?

This skort was only Β£17.99 – A steal if you ask me!

I love pairing it with a black high neck jumper or top and either my knee high boots or tights and ankle boots.

I threw on a black aviator style jacket on this particular day, as I was wandering around London and it was a little chilly.

I would highly suggest that you get your hands on this skort as soon as possible, and if the gingham isn’t for you, then they also have it in a black and white dogtooth print and a plain black.

I’m tempted to by the plain black one as well, I just love it.

Happy Hump-Day my Huns

I hope you’re week is going well,

Lots of Love
