Even when I’m away from home, either abroad or just stopping overnight, I like to travel with a full skincare regime. I tend to have everything I use daily just in a minature version. (I don’t know about you but anything in minature size shouts at me and I can’t help but pick them up).
So, here goes for a whistle stop tour of my travel skin care must haves…
Firstly, my cleanser; I fill a trave bottle with the Clean and Clear Black Head Removing Cleanser. This is a product I’ve used for years and years, it’s just seemed to stick in my routine no matter what!
Secondly, I use the Pixi Glow Tonic. The travel size is so convenient and saves me decanting it from the large bottle that sits on my dressing table. I could not be without this, it gently exfoliates the skin leaving it looking clear and glowy.
Next is the Super Facialist Vitamin C+ eye cream – this is a new product in my routine. I was never fussed about using an eye cream but it honestly makes such a difference! My undereyes feel hydrated and nourished and it definitely helps reduce the appearance of dark circles. This is a full size product, but is small enough to travel with.
Likewise, my daily moisturiser is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+. This has been a firm favourite for several years, its leightweight and targets blemishes. I take my full size tube with me as it’s still easy to pack.
I also take an alternative moisturiser, one that’s a bit heavier and will provide extra moisture if my skins a bit dry. This one from Botanics is a new find, so far I’m loving it. It sinks into the skin and doesn’t leave it feeling tacky.
Lastly, I use the Sephora honey lip scrub… I came across this earlier in the year and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without it. It keeps my lips soft and smooth, ready to apply my makeup.
At the moment I’ve got my travel skincare sorted, but I’m sure in a couple of months I will have swapped out some things for new products as we edge into the autumn/winter months.
Let me know what your favourite travel size products are…
Lots of Love
